Adults & Communities
We empower adults and community groups with the skills and confidence needed to move forward in their careers or into new opportunities. Our tailored coaching and employability programmes focus on practical support such as CV writing, interview techniques, digital skills, and workplace readiness.

We also deliver group workshops and one-to-one sessions designed to build confidence, develop transferable skills, and open doors to new possibilities. By working closely with local communities, we ensure our programmes are relevant, accessible, and aligned with real employment opportunities.
Brighter Futures: Developing Employability for Young People
Career Seekers Direct is proud to partner with Warwickshire County Council to deliver vital job-search support to local communities. One of the services we currently support is the Warwickshire Supported Employment Service, a programme designed to help young people and adults with autism and learning disabilities realise their aspirations to work.

Our Employability Coaches play a key role in this programme, offering one-to-one and small-group support to build confidence, develop essential workplace skills, and sustain employment. Participants benefit from personalised job-search sessions, tailored guidance on CVs and interviews, and opportunities to practice skills in supportive environments such as our Job Clubs. Through this approach, we help participants achieve greater independence, explore career pathways, and gain the practical experience they need to succeed in the workplace.
Brighter Futures: Developing Employability for Young People
In 2022, Career Seekers Direct partnered on the Warwickshire Brighter Futures programme, funded by the Community Renewal Fund (CRF). The programme supported over 600 young people aged 16–30, helping them develop employability skills, explore career pathways, and build confidence to enter the workforce.

As part of this initiative, we contributed to several key activities:

-
Break Away Camps – immersive personal development experiences designed to enhance confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
-
Extra Ability Jobs Programme – providing hands-on support to help young people access meaningful employment opportunities.
-
Let’s Go Rural – offering work-based experiences in rural settings, introducing participants to a range of industries and career possibilities.
-
Warwickshire Community Skills Hubs – delivering practical workshops focused on developing essential workplace and life skills.

Through these activities, we helped young people gain confidence, build transferable skills, and take tangible steps toward sustainable employment. Our role extended beyond delivery: we collaborated with local organisations, employers, and educators to ensure participants had access to the guidance and resources needed to make informed decisions about their futures.
